A freshly image came out from the yacht Freefall, the first Amels yacht in a scope of 242 Limited Editions. This mega yacht was designed by famous yacht designer Tim Heywood.

The company Moran Yachts traded this project in 2013 and at present supplied an uncommon glance of Project Freefall when the yacht shortly came out from the dock in the well-known Dutch shipyard. The brand-new yacht building squad from Moran Ships holds supervising the construction.

The Amels 242 is the 5th biggest yacht in the Limited Editions chain, which objects to make an equilibrium between pure custom building and semi-custom, implying that the yachts can be built quicker without any compensation on quality.

Whilst the arrangements and technological criteria of the boat becomes common, the boat owners are able to select a designer to assist them to make the interior layout their own way. Project Freefall's interior decoration is designed by Andrew Winch Design and will have capacity of 12 guests in six client cabins, including a great owners suite on the upper deck and two main deck VIP cabins

On the main deck aft there's a big eternity pool with toys and tenders put in under on both position. The sun deck has a cozy jacuzzi rounded along sunpads, whilst the bridge allows the choice of a perilous helipad.

Yacht's two diesel main engines will allow a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and the yacht will more confident of ocean crossings with a 5,000 nautical mile range at 12.5 knots.

This is an interesting period for the Dutch yacht builder. The 2nd Amels 242 yacht was sold in September by Fraser Yachts and will be delivered in springtime 2017. The 1st Limited Editions 272 is also in progress, and at 83 metres it will be the biggest of all time Amels yacht reference.

At present, Project Freefall has moved into the another dry dock to have the last levels of building. The delivery of the total project is scheduled for Spring 2016.
